Alan Graham, who is 61, was renting his field near Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland, to the star and her production team.
He saw the star begin to dance around in very little clothes, and decided he thought it was inappropriate, as the field was close to a busy dual carriageway.
Mr Graham, who has Christian beliefs, and is a member of the Democratic Unionist Party, in Northern Ireland said "She understood where I was coming from. We shook hands and parted company on good terms"
The single We Found Love, features Scottish DJ Calvin Harris and is set for release in the next month.
It's not really a good role model for Rihanna to be parading around in her underwear!
